Medzinárodný úspech v krasokorčuľovaní 🥇

Naša žiačka, Olivka Grančičová, z 3.A sa v sobotu zúčastnila na 19. ročníku DVTK-Eastern-Hungary Cup v Miškolci kde sa umiestnila na 1. mieste. Šikovná krasokorčuliarka výborne reprezentuje nielen svoj klub Skating Dream DRJ Košice, ale aj svoju školu.
International success in Figure Skating
Our pupil, Olivka Grančičová from 3.A, won the DVTK-Eastern-Hungary Cup in Miskolcz, Hungary. This gifted figure skater represents not only her club Skating Dream DRJ Košice, but also our school.
2. miesto na majstrovstvách Slovenska vo voltíži

Aj tento rok srdečne blahoželáme našej Katke Boritášovej, žiačke 8.B triedy, ktorá svojim skvelým výsledkom na Majstrovstvách Slovenska 2024 vo voltížnom jazdení obohatila úspechy TJ Slávia UVLF a v kategórii starších detí si vybojovala 2. miesto. Svojím umením, ktoré predviedla na koni Crystall, získala titul I. vicemajsterky Slovenska pre rok 2024.
Zároveň získala aj ocenenie Slovenského voltížneho pohára, kde sa v rebríčku TOP 10 najlepších pretekárok sezóny 2024 umiestnila na 4. mieste. Okrem náročných tréningov zvláda Katka byť aj výbornou žiačkou a predsedkyňou triedy.
Ďakujeme za krásne výsledky a želáme ešte veľa úspechov na ďalších pretekoch.
2nd at the Slovak Championship in Vaulting

Again this year, we warmly congratulate our Katka Boritášová, a student of the 8.B class, who enriched the achievements of TJ Slávia UVMP with her great result at the Slovak Championship 2024 in vaulting and came 2nd in the older children category. With her art, which she performed on the horse Crystall, she won the title of the First Vice-Champion of Slovakia for 2024.
At the same time, she also won the award of the Slovak Vaulting Cup, where she placed 4th in the TOP 10 best competitors of the 2024 season. In addition to demanding trainings, Katka also manages to be an excellent student and the class president.
Thank you for the beautiful results and we wish you a lot of success in the next races.

Odmena za víťazstvo v turnaji 1:0 pre nemčinu

V júni vyhrali naše dievčatá celoslovenské kolo futbalovo-nemčinárskeho turnaja 1:0 pre nemčinu a cena za víťazstvo bol zájazd do Berlína, na ktorom sa zúčastnili spolu s chlapcami z Modry, ktorí vyhrali kategóriu chlapcov, ale aj tímami z Česka či Litvy. Po ceste do Berlína strávili jeden deň v Prahe, kde si prehliadli historické centrum a navštívili aj Vianočné trhy. V Berlíne bola najväčším zážitkom návšteva areálu futbalového klubu Hertha BSC, kde si prehliadli priestory, kde bývajú hráči akadémie, kde sa stravujú, či trávia voľný čas, absolvovali tréning s mládežníckymi trénermi klubu a samozrejme sa naučili aj pokrik "Ha-ho-he, Hertha BSC!". Ten sa im zišiel už na poobedňajšom zápase 2. nemeckej bundesligy, na ktorom si vychutnali úžasnú atmosféru spolu s ďalšími takmer 42 000 divákmi. Okrem futbalu spoznali aj najznámejšie miesta v Berlíne, kde im spoluorganizátor podujatia pán Gerald Prell porozprával zaujímavosti, ktoré sa viažu k daným miestam a porozprával im aj o histórii mesta počas jeho rozdelenia berlínskym múrom. Navštívili Brandenburskú bránu, múzeum berlínskeho múru s jeho zvyškami, vyhliadkovú kupolu nad budovou parlamentu, check point Charlie a mnoho ďalších miest. Ale úplne najviac boli úžasné zážitky a kopec zábavy, ktoré počas tohto výletu zažili a na ktoré budú ešte dlho spomínať.

Reward for winning the German tournament

In June, our girls won the national round of the 1:0 football tournament for German and the prize for the victory was a trip to Berlin, in which they participated together with the boys from Modra, who won the boys' category, as well as teams from the Czech Republic and Lithuania. After the trip to Berlin, they spent a day in Prague, where they toured the historical centre and visited the Christmas markets. In Berlin, the biggest experience was a visit to the campus of the Hertha BSC football club, where they toured the facilities where the academy players live, where they eat or spend their free time, had a training session with the club's youth coaches and, of course, learned the "Ha-ho-he, Hertha BSC!" chant. The latter was already on display at the afternoon match of the 2nd German Bundesliga, where they enjoyed the amazing atmosphere together with almost 42,000 other spectators. Apart from football, they also got to know the most famous places in Berlin, where the co-organiser of the event, Mr. Gerald Prell, told them interesting facts related to the places and also told them about the history of the city during its division by the Berlin Wall. They visited the Brandenburg Gate, the Museum of the Berlin Wall with its remains, the observation dome above the Parliament building, Check Point Charlie and many other places. But absolutely the most were the amazing experiences and lots of fun they had during this trip, which they will remember for a long time.

Úspech v tenise/ Success in tennis

Šarlotka Šimová žiačka 2.D vyhrala celoštátny tenisový turnaj dievčat do 8 rokov bez straty setu. Naša Šarlotka je výborná žiačka, dievča s dobrým srdiečkom, skvelá kamarátka a tiež športovkyňa, ktorá na sebe tvrdo pracuje. Srdečne gratulujeme a tešíme sa na ďalšie úspechy.

Fantastický úspech našich žiačok - Ideme do Berlína / Fantastic success of our students- we are going to Berlin
Na 3. ročníku podujatia 1:0 pre nemčinu, kde sa kombinujú znalosti nemčiny a futbalové schopnosti, sa zúčastnili aj naši žiaci a žiačky.
Keďže cesta bola dlhá, do Bratislavy sme sa vybrali už deň vopred. Po príchode nás čakala regenerácia v bazéne a výborná večera v reštaurácii. Na druhý deň už išlo do tuhého. Najprv prebehlo slávnostné otvorenie za účastí významných hostí, ako napríklad nemecká futbalová legenda Jimmy Hartwig alebo vedúci kultúrneho oddelenia nemeckého veľvyslanectva v Bratislave Stefan Kruschke. Jimmy Hartwig v príhovore vyzval všetkých, aby v športe, ale aj v živote, išli za cieľmi s rešpektom a čestne a aby sme vždy hľadali, čo nás spája a nie, čo nás rozdeľuje. Len tak môžeme v športe, ale aj v spoločnosti, dosiahnuť úspech. Tímy si potom zmerali sily nielen vo futbalovom umení, ale aj v znalostiach nemčiny prostredníctvom nemeckého pexesa, či kvíze o geografii Nemecka. Na záver sa potom body zrátali a z výsledkov vzišlo celkové poradie. Našim chlapcom nepriala futbalová šťastena, keď viaceré zápasy, v ktorých boli minimálne vyrovaní svojim súperom, nedokázali dotiahnuť do víťazného konca. Napriek tomu im za ich výkony a reprezentáciu školy patrí obrovská vďaka. Naše dievčatá sa na úvod nezľakli zvučného súpera - dievčenské družstvo Herthy BSC Berlín do 13 rokov, s ktorým remizovali 1:1. S ďalšími súperkami si poradili bez problémov a vo futbalovej časti skončili na 1. mieste. Keďže aj nemčina našim dievčatám ide dobre, Simi Tokárová, Sofi Špinerová, Grétka Dziaková, Lucka Marčáková, Hanka Garančovská a Tami Onušková pod vedením p. uč. Jonáša a Lastomírskeho vyhrali celý turnaj a okrem víťaznej trofeje si vyslúžili aj výlet do Berlína s tréningom s trénermi Hertha BSC a návštevou ich bundesligového zápasu.
Na záver sa chceme poďakovať Goethe Institutu za zorganizovanie tohto úžasného podujatia a veríme, že si naše dievčatá pobyt v Berlíne užijú.
Our students also participated in the 3rd year of the 1:0 event for German, where knowledge of German and football skills are combined. Since the journey was long, we went to Bratislava a day earlier. Upon arrival, regeneration in the pool and an excellent dinner in the restaurant awaited us. The next day, things got tough. First, a ceremonial opening took place with the participation of important guests, such as German football legend Jimmy Hartwig or the head of the cultural department of the German Embassy in Bratislava, Stefan Kruschke. In his speech, Jimmy Hartwig called on everyone to pursue goals with respect and honesty in sports, but also in life, and to always look for what unites us and not what divides us. This is the only way we can achieve success in sports, but also in society. The teams then tested their strength not only in the art of football, but also in their knowledge of German through a German Pexes or a quiz about the geography of Germany. At the end, the points were then added up and the overall ranking emerged from the results. Our boys were not blessed with football luck, when several matches in which they were at least equalized by their opponents, they could not make it to the winning end. Despite this, they deserve huge thanks for their performances and representing the school. At the beginning, our girls were not afraid of a resounding opponent - the girls' team Hertha BSC Berlin under 13, with whom they drew 1:1. They coped with other rivals without any problems and finished in 1st place in the football part. Since German is also good for our girls, Simi Tokárová, Sofi Špinerová, Grétka Dziaková, Lucka Marčáková, Hanka Garančovská and Tami Onušková under the guidance of Mr. teaching Jonáš and Lastomírský won the entire tournament and, in addition to the winning trophy, they also earned a trip to Berlin with training with Hertha BSC coaches and a visit to their Bundesliga match. Finally, we would like to thank the Goethe Institut for organizing this wonderful event and we believe that our girls will enjoy their stay in Berlin.

🏊♀️Základný plavecký výcvik tretiakov /
Basic swimming course of our 3rd graders 🏊♂️
V mesiacoch október až december 2023 absolvovali naši tretiaci mesačný plavecký výcvik na ZŠ Tomášikova 31 v Košiciach. Pod vedením skúsených tréneriek plávania zvládli základy plaveckých zručností, naučili sa plávať jedným spôsobom tak, aby sa nebáli vody. Väčšina žiakov už skúsenosti s vodou a plávaním mala pred absolvovaní plaveckého výcviku. Neplavci, ktorí si ešte neboli vo vode istí, sa vďaka plaveckému výcviku stali plavcami. Posledná hodina bola venovaná súťažnej disciplíne, v ktorej mali žiaci dokázať preplávať dve dĺžky v bazéne ľubovoľným plaveckým spôsobom (kraul alebo znak). Všetci mali z plaveckého výcviku obrovskú radosť a na hodiny plávania sa vždy veľmi tešili.
Na záver boli všetci plavci odmenení diplomami.
In the months of October to December 2023, they completed our third monthly swimming training at ZŠ Tomášikova 31 in Košice. Under the guidance of experienced swimming coaches, they mastered the basics of swimming skills, learned to swim in one way so that they are not afraid of the water. Most of the students already had experience with water and swimming before completing swimming training. Non-swimmers who were not yet confident in the water became swimmers thanks to swimming training. The last lesson was devoted to a competitive discipline, in which the students had to swim two lengths in the pool using any swimming method (crawl or backstroke). Everyone was very happy with swimming training and always looked forward to swimming lessons. At the end, all swimmers were rewarded with diplomas.
