Rovesnícke učenie v 4.A, alebo, žiak učiteľom

Učivo Vlastivedy je vo 4. ročníku dosť obsiahle. Jedna z mnohých moderných vyučovacích metód, ktorá žiakom pomáha zapamätať si množstvo zemepisných názvov a údajov jednotlivých regiónov Slovenska je medzi žiakmi populárna. Je to rovesnícke učenie.
Na jednu vyučovaciu hodinu sa totiž žiak stáva „ učiteľom“. Obsah učiva touto metódou odovzdávajú spolužiakom žiaci tak, že do neho vložia kus svojho vlastného majstrovstva. K vybratému regiónu si pripravia prezentáciu, ktorú sem tam aj popretkávajú vlastnými fotografiami. Nezabudnú na kvíz, ktorým v závere hodiny overia pozornosť a vedomosti spolužiakov. Keďže vo vlastivede používame prvky metódy CLIL, obsah učiva si žiaci môžu pripraviť aj v angličtine. Učiteľ sa tu stáva facilitátorom - priebeh hodiny pozorne sleduje, v prípade potreby žiakov usmerní. To, že podať spolužiakom učivo je zábavné svedčí aj fakt, že jednotlivé témy sú už vopred žiakmi vybukované 😊

The curriculum of Homeland study is quite extensive in grade 4. One of the many modern teaching methods that helps pupils to remember geographical names and data of the different regions of the country is popular among pupils. It is peer learning.
For one lesson, the pupil becomes a 'teacher'. In this method, the content is conveyed to the classmates by the pupils by putting a piece of their own mastery into it. They prepare a presentation on the chosen region, often including with their own photographs. At the end of the lesson, they take a quiz to test their classmates' attention and knowledge. As we use elements of the CLIL method in the homeland education, pupils can also prepare the content in English. The teacher becomes a facilitator here - he/she follows the lesson closely, guiding the pupils if necessary. The fact that it's fun to teach classmates is also evidenced by the fact that the topics are already pre-booked by the pupils.

Naša škola v piatok 13.12.2024 ožila ľudovými tradíciami, ktoré dodržiavali naši predkovia počas čarovného dňa, ktorý patril dievčenskému menu Lucia. Deti najprv z odpadového materiálu vytvorili hviezdičky pre Luciu. Potom si vyrobili ochranné amulety podľa odkazu našich babičiek, kde nesmel chýbať cesnak. Tváre biele od múky, husacie pierka v rukách, biele plachty a čarovné slová to nasledovalo, keď školu objala tma. Deti povymetali všetko zlo a potom sa vybrali von. Vonkajšie tradičné aktivity našich predkov vo vnútornom átriu deti absolvovali s modernými baterkami, ale tajomná atmosféra bola všade prítomná. Všetci odchádzali domov, ako strážcovia svetla ,vnútorne obohatení s krásnymi bielymi hviezdičkami a veríme ,že aj od všetkého zlého ochránení.

On Friday, December 13, 2024, our school came to life with folk traditions that our ancestors observed during the magical day that the girl's name Lucia. First, the children made stars for Lucia out of waste material. Then they made protective amulets according to the legacy of our grandmothers, where garlic couldn't have been missing. Faces white with flour, goose feathers in hands, white sheets and magic words followed as she embraced the school. The children swept away all the evil and then went outside. The outdoor traditional activities of our ancestors in the inner atrium were completed by children with modern flashlights, but the mysterious atmosphere was present everywhere. They all went home, as guardians of the light, internally enriched with beautiful white stars and, we believe, also protected from all evil.

20. november ostane v pamäti žiakov 4.A hádam navždy!
V deň, keď si celý svet pripomína Svetový deň detí a práv dieťaťa, sa štvrtáci stali svedkami verejného súdneho pojednávania na Mestskom súde v Košiciach. V súdnej sieni, so zatajeným dychom sledovali práve to, čo sa v dnešnom svete žiaľ ešte stále stáva – porušovanie práv dieťaťa - právo byť vychovávaný vlastnými rodičmi, právo na vzdelanie, právo na životnú úroveň.
Po ukončení pojednávania, mohli žiaci klásť p. sudkyni a p. kolíznej opatrovníčke otázky, vyskúšali si sudcovskú stoličku, ale aj stranu odporcov, navrhovateľov, ako aj svedkov. Exkurziu žiaci ukončili nahliadnutím do podzemných priestorov súdneho archívu.
Ďakujeme mamičkám žiakov Jurka Gajdoša, Peťka Bellása, Adamka Dzurendu a rodičom Matildky Oratorovej za vysvetlenie a objasnenie prípadu, priebeh pojednávania, sprevádzanie v súdnej sieni, za výnimočnú skúsenosť - prácu s informáciami a kritickým myslením žiakov v priamom prenose!

November 20 will remain in the memory of the 4th graders forever! On the day when the whole world commemorates World Children's Day and Children's Rights, fourth graders witnessed a public court hearing at the Municipal Court in Košice. In the courtroom, with bated breath, they watched what is unfortunately still happening in today's world - the violation of children's rights - the right to be raised by their own parents, the right to education, the right to a standard of living. After the hearing, students could ask the judge and the conflict guardian questions. They tried the judge's chair, but also the side of the defendants, the plaintiffs, as well as the witnesses. The students ended the excursion by looking into the underground premises of the court archive. We thank the moms of the pupils Jurek Gajdoš, Peťek Bellás, Adamek Dzurenda and the parents of Matildka Oratorová for explaining and clarifying the case, the course of the hearing, accompanying them in the courtroom, for an exceptional experience - working with information and critical thinking of pupils in a live broadcast!

Starší žiaci čítajú mladším / Students read to their younger friends

Na hodinách cudzích jazykov sme v marci rozvíjali čítanie s porozumením. Starší žiaci čítali mladším žiakom príbehy v nemčine, francúzštine a španielčine. Je to pre žiakov nová skúsenosť a určite si to zopakujeme.
In foreign language classes, we developed reading comprehension in March. Older pupils read stories to younger pupils in German, French and Spanish. It is a new experience for the students and we will definitely do it again.
Týždeň mozgu / Brain week
Naša škola si pripomenula náš dôležitý orgán MOZOG a to prostredníctvom rôznych hier, aktivít, hlavolamov a úloh. Žiaci prvého stupňa horlivo riešili každý deň vždy nové úlohy za pomoci svojich učiteliek. Pracovali usilovne a skupinovo, čím podporili okrem iného aj triedne sociálne väzby, spoluprácu a komunikáciu. Na druhom stupni si zase žiaci zahrali spoločenské hry, ktoré prevetrali ich matematické, logické, grafické či slovné schopnosti. Veríme, že sa žiaci zabavili, naučili nové veci a navzájom si dali i niekoľko rád a nápadov pre zdokonaľovanie svojich mozgových hemisfér.
Our school remembered our important organ BRAIN through various games, activities, puzzles and tasks. First-grade students eagerly solved new tasks every day with the help of their teachers. They worked diligently and as a group, thereby supporting, among other things, class social ties, cooperation and communication. In the second grade, the students played board games that tested their mathematical, logical, graphic and verbal skills. We believe that the students had fun, learned new things and gave each other some advice and ideas for improving their brain hemispheres.
